what gears do i have

this may sound like a stupid question but i was wondering which gears i have on my 1996 M5 RS
How can i find out

most likely you have 3.23s...

open your driver side door, and look at that sticker with all the numbers on it...

if it says:

gu4: 3.08
gu5: 3.23
gu6: 3.42
Edit: check to see if you have y87 as well

mostly m5s come with gu5...

Edit: if you do have an rs, you should have also something called "y87" there, this will make u have gu6 i believe... check and see if you have them...

it has got to be [img]smile.gif[/img] either gu4 gu5 or gu6

He has a M5 all M5 have 3.23s no exceptions. Even the Y87 get those gears. The A4 have the 3.08 or the 3.42.
