What, if any, are the big things to look out for in the 4th gen t5 swap from this article: http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/manualswap.shtml
I'm figuring on just leaving the auto wires unplugged except for the VSS & back up lights. Still searching to see if the pcm will have a fit, or i I will need a manual pcm for the swap (remebers the pink wire incident [img]graemlins/slap.gif[/img] )
Just something I just thunk of, as it might be cheaper for me to do a manual swap than get the A4 rebuilt, plus it should be a helluvalot light too.
edit: disregard. due to overwhelming response here, and overpriced 5sp trannies out there, I'll jsut get the A4 rebuilt.
