Wanted to know before I bought the DS so i would know if it fits safely with out rubbing or hitting anything........and are they the same length??

someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the 1 piece take up less room than our stock 2-piece DS's.. that center bearing has a larger diameter than a 1 piece aluminum..-Brad

you will have no probs..they put 4" exhausts on the LS1s so i wouldnt worry about it. I originally had the 2 piece DS and it was hitting the 3" I pipe, The problem went away when I got the 1LE Aluminum DS. The LS1 DS has a larger diameter than the 1LE. It has been reported that the balance ring on the LS1 DS interferes with the exhaust pipe do to its location on V6 cars.
