  • Servo Snap Ring

Does anyone have any advice to get the snap ring on the servo cover to go in? I tired lowering the tranny and it didn't help. I need some help.

I used a screwdriver and a crow bar....you need to push the servo in with the crow bar by wedging it against the tranny tunnel. There is a resistance when the blue ring hits the cover ring groove so keep pushing (it takes a lot of pressure) and you will finally be able to get it in....it took me at least an hour.

ok i lost the battle with that **** ring. i can get the bottom to snap in but i can't get the cover all the way in on the top for the ring to click in. the car is off its stands and waiting to be picked up by the tow truck to go to the tranny shop
