anyone ever have this switch go out on them??? i went to go pick up the woman from work last night and the maro won't start [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img] . i turn the key and get nothing [img]graemlins/stickpoke.gif[/img] . no clicking for a dead battery, no nothing [img]graemlins/twak.gif[/img] . could i just need a new starter?

The easist way I usually tell, is, if the voltage gauge drops, when you turn the key, its the starter, cause the car is letting all that voltage pass through the ignition switch and the clutch switch. If the gauge doesnt drop, then its one of those latter two. Thankfully the clutch switch is pretty easy should be on the clutch pedal underneath the dash. But, I think the ignition switch is in the steering clumn somewhere.
