TRACK-RAIN-Noise in heavy turn

I was on the track today under the rain! (first time on the track)
Dawn! I was happy to have only 200 hp, I think that with a V8 I'd wreck my car ;)

I've got a question, in heavy turns under the rain, the car going straight on and there was a strange noise (clac-clac-clac-clac) in the front of the car , what is it?

Well I hope you'll understand what I'm saying, it's not easy to express unknown things in another langage...

Only in turns? Can you hear it if your stopped and just turn the wheels left or right?

only in HEAVY turn (40 mph) when the car's sliding, only on the track never appends on the road...
Someone (a porsche fan) on a french forum has just told me that it's a big understeering , called 'Rippage' (never heard that word before), it's caused by large tire
