Rear End Swap???

I did a search and got some info but I have some questions. I plan on getting a Z28 or TA rear end (the same thing everyone else swaps to for the most part). I have a few questions:

-Beside the e-brake cable what else needs to be replaced??
-How easy it to switch e-brake cables?
-Do all the brake lines match up right?
-How long would this take in my drive with some of the right tools and a crap load of PB Blaster??
-What surpises should I be in for and how can I be ready for them?

I plan on doing this swap when I also swap my Driveshaft, Torque Arm, LCA's, Panhard Par, and shocks. Would it be easier to take everything off a whole or part by part. The same with the install, would it be easier to install everything while its on the ground then put everything in place or when its being pieced together on the car???

When I bought my z28 rear it came with the ebrake cable however some do not. The install is really a simple swap. If your car has been in the salty winters the bolts and such might night come off good, so that might take some time. When I did mine I had it down in 3 hrs but that was in my dads shop and my car never was in the winter or anything so it all came apart really nice.

yeah, could take 3 hours or 30 depending on how much your bolts are rusted up. I wouldnt say it would take more than a half day even w/ some minor problems though. as long as the new rear comes w/ the cable, no problem. if you follow the cable, there is a point midway in the car where the front line (2 parallel lines) end at a plate and the rear line bolts into the center of that plate. just uhnook the old and attach the new, then pull your e-brake and makes sure it is grabbing, you might have to adjust it at that plate a little to make sure the e-brake grabs.
