looking to get lsd and 3.73s.............

who has the best product and price when it comes to the lsd and 3.73 gears? what other mods would be recommended before getting them? everyone seems to fall end over end in love with lsd and 3.73s and i want to be part of it......lol also what is the factory gear ratio?

Factory gear ratio can either be 3.08 or 3.42. You need to look at your RPO codes to see what you have. Basically look for Y87 in your RPO codes on your door. If you have Y87 then you have 3.42's and the LSD.

Are you auto or manual?
If you're auto mjparme listed your ratios.
If you're manual, you have 3.23's.

I think you mean 3.73 gears, not 3.72's.
The best priced LSD would be the $99 takeoff one from SLP. Gears should all be around the same price, Motive gears are supposed to be pretty good. You'll also need an install kit which will include shims and bearings and such. You might also want to get some sort of speedo recalibrator if it's available.

what all do you have to do to your trans if you change gears? cause i do know that it will throw off your speedometer and odometer.
