  • shift kit and tranny swap question

is there a shift improver kit or shift kit for our v6 automatic and if so where can i find it? provide links if you could. and maybe instead of kits maybe i would just get a different transmission cause i plan on supercharging the engine during the winter while its in storage and i want a tranny that is more apt for racing any ideas? thanks for any input
speed costs money, question is how fast can you afford to go??

you can get a transgo shift kit from www.ftpp.net for around $100. FTPP is great to work with

TransGo Shift Kit is the way to go I would avoid the B&M shift improver. Also while doing the TransGo a lot of people add a corvette servo.

The 4L60E can actually take quite a beating, you can get a complete rebuilt with carbon fiber/kevlar components to get it almost bullet proof.

Tranny cooler/stall converter it and you'll be set for some pretty quick times.

By the time that is all done your tranny should shift HARD and FAST, and be able to take a beating.
