he will gain twice that with posi and the gears if his car responds well which his car hasnt responded well to anything cause he would do what he needs for things to work. like tuning. his times dont reflext anything cause my car runs 5tenths of a second faster than his does with a supercharger and his 13.6 run is total

Those a really good times for 6LBS of boost, at least thats what it says in his post. And by your sig says you run a 15.2, his is 13.6 so how are you 5 tenths faster? Do you have forced induction now?

I'm not arguing that posi IS NOT good, its a great thing. Just saying, its not a MUST HAVE.

The 3800 does not have good top end power like LS1's do in stock form, the lower the gear, the faster he will hit higher RPM which are out of his power band.

15.7 on 6 lbs is not good. i ran 15.3 w/ just a flow muffler. i understand what your saying about not needing it and thats all and well. im not argueing about that.

        this is a real time

and the only reason i believe it is cause he witnessed the car running it that area of times

          **13.60@103mph**

so you're saying that time in his sig is completely false? I'm talking about 1dangerousV6 here.

and yes 15.7 is really bad for 6lbs of boost. Either he is running a track in the rocky mountains or he can't drive for ****, or his car has serious problems. Having a 3.08 open rear WOULD NOT cause it to run that slow.

How come I can get a 15.6 with basically a lid and nothing else? My drag radials dropped me 5 TENTHS alone with my converter, versus street tires with my converter. In the june heat in fl after my convrter, i could NOT break into the 15s (running 16.05 and 16.1's consistant) because i was pulling 2.4 and 2.5 60's on my 235 goodyears. Went back a month later with BFG 255 DR's and ran 15.7's all day long. That time in my sig was done in february in 60 degree weather. I almost wanna wait until it cools down before I get my LSD and gears installed just so I can run low 15's with an open rear to show it can be done.

yes, it is the general consensus that his 13.6 time is

why can you run a 15.6? well if your comparing to his 15.7 blown time, well, you houldnt. his car is a turd and your is running fine. his times are so bad because he is running that car into the ground. you seriously need to read the posts dealing with him and his car. it would show you the light when it comes to his ridiculus actions

I read the second one. And if its not tuned right, no wonder it runs like that...howver, my point is that the gears will not cause him to run those times.

and on your cardomain page bulldog, is that your woman in the back ground? she looks nice. you are lucky

yeah that made no sense. God I hate how I can type faster than my brain wants it to be said.

What I meant to say, I should wait till cooler weather and make a trip down to BMP and run low 15's with my 3.08 open rear to show it can be done.

So 1dangerousV6 doesnt know the differences between an open rear and a LSD rear... and he think he will run 12s?
