ok guys, got the shift kit just waiting to be put in, i dont really wanna do it myself cuz i have no time with work, and i would need help since im not the best mechanic, so it would be easier to have me have it installed by a shop, ive called around to a few places, they wont do it. so i think i know a couple places that might, questions i have are how much should i expect to pay and if a friend and i install it, how much time we lookin at?

if you and your friend have a good sense of whats going on and how to put stuff back together right you should only be looking at like 3-4 hours if you going slow...most of the time is during the removing and installing of the valve body

a couple words of advice...don't lose the check balls in the valve body, PITA to find a replacement...put the manuel valve back on the right way, it goes in the notch side not the small hole side...be very very carefull how you put the servo pack in (might as well replace with a vett servo) when I did mine it got tilted funny and got stuck in the bore and I could get the cover back on, grrrr....double and triple check EVERYTHING you do so when you put everything back together and start the car up you don't cussing about why the car won't work right.

Hope this is of some help

i just had mine done by a mechanic... he did all of the crap i wanted done for me and im happy as hell with it... the install was 125 i believe, but then he ordered a corvette servo, a new metal pully thing to replace an old plastic one and a new solenoid...
