Why do you need two? If you cool the fluid too much, the transmission won't work properly. There's already a transmission fluid cooler in your radiator, you only really need an additional cooler if you're going to be towing a lot of stuff, or doing major racing that will be working the transmission heavily.

Well, the problem here is that you don't have too many options, because of the design of our cars. You want to put a cooler in a position that has a high pressure area in front of it, and a low pressure area behind it. If you get too much stuff in front of your engine radiator, you'll start having problems with engine cooling. See if you can get ahold of somebody with a 1LE, because they have (at least the earlier ones did) a power steering cooler on them, and find out where it's located. One option would be at the back of the engine bay, by the firewall. This is where the air that goes into the engine compartment from the radiator comes back out.

I'm putting my powersteering cooler (24" rail cooler from PermaCool (PRM-1003) behind the air dam, as per directions from www.go-fast.org

I evaluated 3 different PSCooler options, and chose this.
