rear-end??

Ok, I've done a search here and I looked through the rpo codes and I'm wondering what kind of diff. do I have? I saw GU5, but that means 3.23 gears. How do I know what diff. I have? Thanks in advance for any help

G80 means posi. If that isn't there then you have an open rear end.

guess I have an open diff. then. I done a burnout today and noticed it left two marks, so I though it might be a posi.

Not neccessarly, i've left 2 marks before, and i have an open 3.08 rear.

At the track, i've had both tires break loose on me before i lined up.

All depends which tire grabs first, if both dont have traction, both will spin.

This isnt very common, but does happen.
I MOST of the time spin the passenger tire, thats most common.
