  • pic of 2 piece drive shaft.

    I've always wondered what it looks like.

    if anybody has pics, installed, or uninstalled, that would be great.

    and does anybody know why gm used a 2 piece shaft?

    The 2-piece helps reduce vibrations.
    Don't have a pic of one, but it's real obvious if it's a 2-piece.

            its been proposed that GM used it because they made a lot of them in the past and just wanted to use them up.. no idea how true that is.. but it would make some sense

              If you have one I reccomend getting rid of it, it fecked up my pinion seal...

              And there was a grin on my face when I popped under my new car and saw it had a nice 1 piece steel under it [img]smile.gif[/img]

              For what its worth, you can get a steel one for like $40 shipped to you...
