I assume all transmission mounts are the same for both V8s and V6s, manual or automatic?

Seems that way. Same part numbers.

Yes they're the same. I'd go with a 1LE mount (from SLP for $18), as that's harder durometer rubber. Go to poly and you get tons more vibrations. However, at least on the V6, the 1LE lowers the tranny about 1/2" ... no big deal. BTW, do you want my stock mount?

both mounts the poly and the 1LE will lower the manual tranny right about the same amount.. I know this from my personal experience. You need to get a dremmel or something and open up the hole in the crossmemeber to make either one of them go in somewhat correctly. Also there is an offset from the upper bolt holes for the tranny and the lower hole/stud for the mounting to the crossmember.
Now the 1LE has this offset the poly does not. But you will still need to open up the hole a little for the lLE because of the stud on the bottom is bigger.
Also for the poly you can modify the mounting plate and preload plate on the poly mount. You really have to see the mounts to know what I mean. I have driven with both and the difference between the 1LE and the Poly mount is negligible except when it comes to vibration and noise. My car has a strange resonance around 60 mph and with the 1LE its not bad at all but with the poly it's quite annoying. And yes I drove with it for about a month and a half and even after the breakin peroid there was the resonance.

Hope I haven't completely confused you. Also both mounts dropped my tranny about 1/2 inch so you can either use some sort of spacer to raise it back to stock height or just get a short throw shifter.. I did the latter of the two because i didn't want to strain the bolts and such with washers.
