tranny questions

I have an auto 98 camaro that I am converting to stick. I have searched for and found everything I need except for details on wiring the backuplights and the safety switch. Hopefully someone knows

Ok I just got off the phone with a guy at ta creations and this is what he told me. he said he had the stuff I need, but wiring comes into play. He said that I could hard wire the dash harness for my reverse lights and saftey switch, but there is another problem. he said that since obd2 runs through the transmission when i unhook that harness that eventhough my pcm will be reprogrammed to accomodate the manual transmission that I still might throw a code since the harness is still there, but not plugged into anything. HELP!!!!
