does anyone have a more detailed install guide than the one i found searching. or would i be better off letting a shop do it

vette servo install question

it is a breeze.
use a long prybar to push in on the stock servo with one hand and then use a pair of plyers(needle nose are best) to pull out the snap ring that retains the servo. you can press the prybar against the tranny tunnel directly above the servo. then slowly release tension from teh servo so as to not shoot the spring that rests under it across the room(it does look really cool when it happens but i think it is strong enough to take out an eye [img]smile.gif[/img] )
installation is just the reverse of the removal process.
one suggestion, while you have the servo out, put 2 or 3 washers under the spring to create more line pressure. it is a cheap mod, and part of many aftermarket shift kits [img]smile.gif[/img]
once you are done let the car run til warm and check the fluid level.
then go out and chirp gears at ricers [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]
