So I'm parked, and I want to back out. I've found that a quick 1st to 2nd to R works best to get it into reverse. Last night, however, I pressed down on the clutch to put it into 1st, and it didn't want to fall into gear. Stopped @ a red light this AM, turns green, I press on the clutch to drop it into 1st and the same thing happened. Feels like something is totally blocking me from getting it into gear. Sometimes I have to release the clutch and re-engage 2x before it finally drops in. WTF is going on?

5th to reverse is easiest
As for the not falling into gear thing - yea it happens, just push hard and it'll fall in. I reckon its just the synchros not being linged up so you just have to force your way... since the cars not moving, nothing to worry about.2002 Camaro SS 6 Spd
Sebring Silver Metallic
Still breaking it in
Traded in - 2002 V6 5 Spd Camaro.
\"I\'ll never trust squirrels again.\"

dont forice it into gear, thats bad for it..
id say its one of a few things..
if you got pedal, and not too much play, it might be your clutch..
if you got too much play, its your tranny fork
if you got no pedal responce (doesnt push itself back out) then your master/slave assembly is shot03 Subaru WRB WRX
Clear parking lights
Autometer Phantom Boost guage
