I currently own a 1996 (3.8 liter) Camaro with a 5 speed manual transmission. I'm not fond of the stock shifter knob and was wanting to upgrade to a shorter shifter stick with the hurst or slp logo shifter knob. Will Lou's short stick bolt on to my stock shifter? What would be the best approach?

In that case, will the 6 speed leather "H" logo shifter that many websites are selling for Camaros fit on my stock 5 speed?

        yes it will...

get a b&m ripper, or pro 5.0 they're the most used ones (i love my ripper) and the hurst "H" shift knob fits on the ripper...

oh yeah, DO A SEARCH, this has been beaten to death, 4 years ago
