    This has only started doing it recently, with now ~62K miles and the harsh, colder winter.

    any idea as to what this could be? i've read it could be a throwout bearing...? could that be it, or just cold weather affecting it?
    2011 Camaro LS 6M, in black.

    sounds like a throw out bearing. be a good time to install a spec clutch ;)

        I have had that same squeak for the past 4 winters. It only happens to my car when it's below 20*, and goes away after the engine warms up. I suspect the slave cylinder, but not gonna replace it until I put a new clutch in.
