Is there an aftermarket electronic shifter for an A4 3.4L? (Somebody? anybody?)

What I am talking about is like to one in the 04 grand prix commercial. Hears a link, go to the bottom of the page and click on the tapshift link in the specs area of the fourth GTP, http://www.pontiac.com/grandprix/index.jsp?version=html

I want to set my car up in an autocross configuration and I believe this would be a tremendous help.

I think people buy the corvette servo as a "shift kit" for our cars.
We have the 4L60E I believe and I know there are plenty of other shift kits from B&M or somebody... just look around on thunder racing or sites like that.

I am not looking for a regular shift kit, I am looking for a device to control the transmission like I was actually shifting with a manual. Where it wouldn’t shift up or down unless you hit a button. Kind of hard to explain I guess.

May seem, or sound, or even be neat ... but ...

You're on track for a "manual valve body" at best. I'd say just drop it ... but I'm an M5 guy. If you want tranny upgrades, get a converter. Otherwise, invest elsewhere.
