q's about 3.73 and 4.10

ok guys..I got a 3.4 a few mods...was gona get some nos..but I hear that these egines don't hold up all to good to it...so now I'm gona use that money to get some new gears instead.....my question is this....how my car is now I do 0-60 in 10.73 sec(up a hill(don't ask me why..I like to take it going up a hill))i normally get like 9.6 on flat ground....anyway..what kind of improvment will I be looking to get from 3.73 and also the 4.10?...and what kind of rpm will I be llooking at if I'm cruise on the e-way at 70 with overdirve on?..around 3 grand?

ok I just wnaa say what my car is..it is a 93 and it has the 4l60 in it..I"m not sure what is in their now..but at 70mph I'm at 2grand even....I don't really care about gas either..and the car is my daily driver

From 3.08's to 4.10's is about the equivalent of a 70 horsepower gain.

You'll cruise 70 MPH at 2,750 RPM.

You can use nitrous ('naws' is a ricer term - we're better and more educated than that) its safe for up to about a 100 shot depending on how it is setup. Some guys have used a 150 shot on the stock motor.

Don't bother to spend the money of 4.10's though, without a Limited Slip Differential. Costs more, but imeasurably worth every penny of the 99 dollars it costs.

3.4 cars come with 3.23 gears both m5 and a4. I have the 3.73 gears in my car. I haven't had the chance to get to the track for a new 1/4 mile time with the 3.73 lsd setup. I ran consistant 16.5's at the track last time. From what I've seen on the board I should be able to shave at least .5 off of my best time. If you don't have lsd or posi I suggest getting it along with the gears. You'll be able to launch even harder with both tires spinning. Also if you do it all at once it's only one install.
