  • Clutch Pedal Makes a Clicking Noise

My car is only a 18 months old, and yesterday, the clutch pedal started making a clicking noise. When I am pushing the clutch pedal in, after I get about half-way, it makes a clicking noise. This has never happened before and it now happens everytime I press it.

Is this bad? Did something break?

Is it easy to fix? Should I take it to a dealer?

It sounds like what happened in my car.
The clutch spring might be broken.
Mine is and clicks (or creaks) b/c the spring hits one side on a panel. It'll work fine and not cause any problems, but it will be quite annoying. Take it to the dealer and have them fix it.
