yesterday my car started making these weird noises from the back end, starting as a very slight kinda thumping sound and eventually growing to a really loud clackity sound, like sticking something in a fan blade. i pulled the rear wheels off this morning, rotate them while it's in the air, no noise. do the same with the front, no noise. get everything back together and the thump is back. what in the world could be causing this noise? and how do i fix it.

Check the torque arm, muffler / exhaust hangers, torque the LCAs.
Also the muffler bearings, o-pipe, piston return springs.

"Thump Thump, Clack Clack, Oh what a releif it is!"...Oh, sorry, that was an old TV commercial :D
May want to check your shocks, Driveshaft U-Joints, LCA Bolts, and maybe check the panhard rod.
When I first installed my posi disk rear last july, it ran great, but had a loud clanking noise coming from the rear and it took me a week to finally find it. I forgot to tighten the bottom bolt on the left rear shock. Maybe you broke a shock, or a bolt came loose somewhere.

Sorry man, that sucks a big one.
1g for gears and install? Maybe you could pick up a used rear end out of a junk-yard for about 400 then put it in by yourself.\'95 Med. 's alright, i don't think i told many people about it.my main concern is just to get the .10s again, and make sure they are installed exactly right. i can't afford to have broken gears and i miss my car soo much.you can\'t get off if you don\'t get on
