i've been wondering, could the harder shifts from my vette servo and actuator pistons have been a cause? i'm kinda at a loss for why the pinion gear broke. i looked through the gears about two months ago or so and there wasn't a scratch on them (had the servo and all at the time too), and now.....any ideas?
no that didnt make the pinion break. think about it. it was more than likely heat/ along with just flooring it from a stop. that basically bangs the gears together.. doubt that would do anything either but who knows. but the vette servo didnt break your gears.
