Basically when my car upshifts and downshifts, sometimes I get and can feel a clunk from the rear. I took it in...the dealership said something about gear backlash and it wasn't covered.
Now, I have my LSD and new gears ready to be installed...I have the crap stock 3.08s and have the new 3.42s. Will this fix the problem...the clunking?
stock 3.08s shouldn't have any backlash (right?)
anyways, depending on the brand of gears you bought and how they're installed, you might have a little gear backlash still.
