I was quoted $220 for gears and lsd,if i buy an install kit. is that a good price and where can i get the install kit?

also he told me 80 for the lca's, is that good?

The gear and LSD price is excellent . I was quoted from $320-$450 from different shops when I got mine installed (bought my own install kit too).

Sounds like it would be a standard "hour" worth of labor for the LCA's, but they're easy enough to install you can do them yourself. I've done it before, it isn't hard at all.

Got 2 jackstands and 2 wrenches (at least one ratchet) and a torque wrench? That's all it takes .

Yeah, I payed like $150, and that included the gasket, gear oil, and reprogramming.

Check your dealer service shops, and try to get someone to do an under-the-table job for you.

Might be a little less convienent but definately save you some cash.

What kinda magic words did you use to get them to install it???, I've called all the dealerships around and no-one will touch it

Best I could find was a transmission shop quote for $225.

you count the teeth on the pinion and divide by the number of teeth on the ring, or look at your rpu codes and it will tell what the car came with stock

me too... all i did was bring gears, lsd, and install kit.

                      he did everything else :D

LCAs are easy to install... dont pay for those to be put on.
