Thinking of buying a shorter shifter for myself for x-mas. Whats a good brand to get?? I have done alittle research and i kinda like the pro 5.0 shifter. Anyone else have some opinions or what to stay away from out there?

I have the ripper and love it. The shifts are a tad bit shorter but they feel 100% better than the stock shifter ever did. It just shifts so much firmer. Some people say its a little bit harder to shift but in my opinion its not really enough to call.
And your stock shifer knob won't fit the pro 5.0 but if you do go that way get the lou's short stick.

didnt wanna have to reply to this yet again, but the 5.0 is one noisy, nasty, badass of a shifter, and i love it.
-oh, by the way, people with rippers still use the clutch when they race, what a joke.
Edit: By the way the stock shifter knob from mine fit fine, i cut about an inch off the top of the stick and screwed that puppy right on.

Whatdya mean by this? You don't use the clutch with the 5.0 shifter?
Man, if I tried that my sychronizers would be stripped.
