I had my clutch replaced maybe a year ago, and everything seemed to work great until now. My third gear occasionally "pops" out. I'll shift into third, feel it going in, let go of the clutch, and just hear the engine reving. Try put it in once again, and it grabs hold. Is this the clutch, or what's going on? This only happens on the third gear. Please guys, tell me what the problem is and what I need to replace. I have a friend at school who can do it for me, just need to know what it is. Thanks in advance for all replies!!!

Someone here had to have this problem before... Please post replies people. Anyway, I'm figuring it's most likely the tranny itself since it's only third gear. Should I get the tranny rebuilt, buy an all new tranny, or buy a rebuilt tranny. Please help me out. Also, any links to sites which might offer help will be greatly appreciated!1996 Camaro<br />Nothing special really done yet!
