would going from 3.23 to 3.73 gears be a good application for my turbo setup? what about 3.42, or 4.11? 3.73 seems like a happy median, but 4.11 would be off the wall... would that be TOO much? should the turbo even be a determining factor when choosing gears? thanks

Just make sure you wouldn't be topping out before the end of the 1/4, since it's an auto reprogramming shift points and speedo would be an issue since with say 4.10's the computer would think you're going 120 because of the speedo and turn the governor on when you're really going like 90 or so because of the gears. I realize that isn't the exact numbers but that's what would happen without computer work. Just something to give a thought to.

sorry, my sig is a little misleading... the turbo from the 93 is going into the 98 M5, so the auto tranny wouldn't be a prob... but, would the extra shift to 4th slow me down more than if i kept the 3.23's and hit the end in 3rd? would i still be able to hit the end in 3rd with the turbo? thanks...1998 Camaro 3.8 M5
