  • HOW HARD WOULD IT BE ?

    How hard would it be to put a lt1 or ls1 rearend in my 96 v6 camaro. Wouldnt i have to chanch computers because of the rear discs???

    I think it should be fine. But the ABS will function alot different because of the disk brakes.Drum brakes and disk work diferen.For example; it takes more pressure for drum brake to stop the wheels than the disk brake.But the ABS should compensate for the change now that i think about it.       I thought that drums would need more power to stop but in fact the proportioning valve are the same for a rear drum and a rear disc rearend.

                The only reason that you would need 2 reprogram the computer would be for a gear change but that is it.
