Originally posted by FirebirdGT: Master cylinder should be one of the FIRST things to replace. Check the fluid, and if it is getting "dirty" it is the master going bad - I know, I replaced the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing when I should have replaced the master.
Sp wait, if the fluid is getting dirty and going bad, then its the Master cylinder going out?

thanks.
easy.(I assume that you know how to bleed the system and use the tools) Read instructions and make shure that you understand what you gonna do. here is another link : http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm
go to: McLeod Adjustable Master Cylinder and "Drill Mod" Install
tips:
1.when you gonna drill the hose, make sure that hose is straight , use the smaller drill bit first , finish with 3/8.Use battery powered low speed drill.Flash it with brake fluid.
2. I had my vehicle lowered back before i did U-bolt. You want to point top hole first. That’s where you gonna learn to be patient Put time aside, no rush and youll be alright.

Do u have to be installed a new master cylinder for this Drill Mod to work? Id like to go out there and do this possibly tomorrow and was wondering if I needed any extra parts aside from new fluid for the system.
2000 3800 II V6 Firebird<br />various small mods, bigger stuff later.
unless you accidently drill through the wrong part, no you dont need anything but fluid. and a friend to help bleed the system.
