hmm... no link. that makes it a bit harder. but yes, any poly mount will need the washers and the hole in the crossmember enlarged. only way around it is if you find a 1LE mount or use an OEM.

Anyone have the PN for 1LE trans mount?
Half of the Drivetrain posts about how the poly mount sucks. I want to skip that experience.

I dont think 1LE's are readily available anymore.....

Poly mounts dont suck, they just need to be broken in and need about 5 minutes worth of work to make fit. Its mostly when people dont understand either of those two points that they post negative stuff about them.

I read the last post and it seems that us auto guys wouldn't need the washers. did I read that correctly?

Yes, that is true...Before I REALLY got into installing stuff on my car, I had my mechanic put on the poly-mount for me. He didn't need to mod it at all and it fits fine...Should I expect there to be something wrong if I feel that it vibrates too much?

auto here and I needed to install the washers, plus lengthen out the tranny crossmember holes. Not really that big of a deal.

The mount bolts right up to the tranny, but you will need to add some washers if you want it to sit at the same level as the stock mount. I have 2 black ones in stock right now so if you need it ASAP, order one of those.

BTW, check out the new one added this afternoon. Pretty hardcore. If it doesn't show up, click the refresh button in your browser's window.

Note: Solid Transmission Mounts mus be used in conjunction with Solid Motor Mounts to prevent breakage of engine block and Transmission case due to torsional stress.

I don't necessarily need one right now. I had the factory stock one replaced( for a stock one) when the tranny was rebuilt back in February. but I am stepping up to 3.73's and a Eaton posi in a few weeks and am going to get a set of DR's next spring. I am thinking of replacing it before it breaks.
