It should be a direct swap.

A direct swap, but you'll need to replace the emergency brake cables. They are different from the drum brake cables. Other than that, it's completely compatible.

I was also thinking about getting a Z-28 rear end for my 96 RS. How would I go about getting the speedometer back to normal without having to pay a lot of money is there anyway for me to do it manually without having to do computer stuff?

You got your rear from speedautomotive? How much did shipping cost you and how far was it shipped? Thanks.
