IIRC The A4 is the same tranny in both the V6 and the V8 models.

Whats IIRC mean?
Also since they are the same tranny's, is there an adapter kit out there I could use to bolt a V8 engine up to a V6 tranny instead of having to buy a whole new tranny due to bellhousing issues? because my V6 one had just been rebiult and I might want to do an engine swap down the road...
