I have the hpp3 with the shift firmness set to 100%. It's pretty cool and everything but I was wondering if anyone has had this set up and then gone to a mechanical shift kit, and also if anyone has noticed the benefits to adjusting the shift points with the programmer. Thanks

I don't know about the programmer, but I got a trans go kit for my 99 and the tranny guy refused to put it in. He said within a week or so second gear would be gone. Something to do with the stock bands. I'm just going to wait until I need a tranny rebuild and do it right. I don't know about other people with the kits in, but I didn't want to take a chance, so I did the same thing as you, had the PCM programmed.
