I am having a helluva time getting the old U-Joints out of my DS. I got the rear one out, but the front ones just won't budge.
I have it sitting in my vice, with a 1 1/8" socket on one side, and a 1/2" on the other, clenched as tight as possible all lubed up with WD-40. The little bugger won't budge.
My manuals weren't any help, do you guys have any tips or advice on removing those things?
Take it to a shop and have it pressed out. It won't cost much. I have a press which I use and it is far easier than hammering them out.
