• Good Price For Z28 Rear End?

I was just wondering if 380 shipped was a good price for a Z rear end? How much do you think it would cost for me to have it installed?

You may want to check the "drivertrain" section, you may find more help there.

There are many rear ends being sold in Chicago. I see some 3.73 and 3.42 ones being sold now. www.mfba.org. Are you part of MFBA? I wouldn't bother with shipping. It's one heavy piece. Imagine the headaches of trying to ship it back if the gears whine.

        I bought mine $408 shipped with a lt1 driveshaft

so figure 408-25=$383 i got ripped off compared to you!

        sounds good.

i got a rear of a 97 WS6, trans am. 3.42 gears, limited slip and 4 wheel disk brakes.

if you do the swap might as well do an lt1 driveshaft while all the cap is off anyways..

Yeah you will. My car will probably be the only taking that turn at more then 1mph. :D

That price is ok if you're getting disk brakes also. I got mine for $250 with relocation brakets, but no brakes. I want to get disks one day.

Good choice in cars. A 96 green camaro. Those rule the streets in the north west suburbs. You even have the same exhaust and intake(not in the car though) that I have. We got to race.
