  • Did a search, nothing. What do i need to install 3.42's

I have decided to change out my 3.08's with 3.42's. Would i just have to go to the shop and say order me in some 3.42's and install them and thats it, or would i have to but extra parts with the gears.??

i would definetely recommend that you shop yourself unless you are interested in spending some serious cash...most places will charge you quite a large amount for parts...that's usually where they make most of their money, not on labor. btw, don't get in this project at all unless you are ready to spend between $500-$1000 total.

oh ya, to answer your question...sure, most places will be able to install gears and will have the necessary parts if you just take it to them, but i wouldn't recommend you go that route.
