which gears would be better 3.42 or the 3.73 and what would i have to do/change or should get when i do his to get the most out o it thanks

i'd say 3.42s 3.73s will kill your milage and over 50 your acceleration wont be that good...
Anwyay, if you want a car that is primarily for street and is a daily driver I would say don't go higher 3.42's. If you want a car that is primarily for the drag strip go with 3.73's.
From personal experience the 3.42's did not take away any mileage for city or interstate driving. Your acceleration from 50 will be better than the 3.08's, I am not sure what teal99camaro is talking about.
I am absolutely pleased with my 3.42's and LSD. The LSD is great in the rain, can't wait to see how it improves my car in the snow.SLP CAI, K&N, Whisper Lid, 180* thermo, manual fan switch, 3.42 gears, Auburn Pro LSD, Wester\'s PCM Tuning, TSP Rumbler, High Flow Cat.
