i know i've probably asked this one before, but, are there any long term disadvantages to having your pcm programmed to run on 3.08s and you actually have 3.42s? the clutch in the tranny or flywheel or anything like that isn't losing lifetime because of this, is it? i just was thinking about it, and even though i can't tell at all that my car shifts differently, i'm sure the shift points are off somewhat and i want to know if i should go fix this whenever i can get the chance, or if i don't mind the speedo being off can i just drive it like it is and never expect to have problems BECAUSE of the gear switching/pcm clash? and by never expecting to have probs i mean could i drive my car from 65k to 150k and not have any problems, or is this something i need to check out at some point because problems may become of it? thx in advance.
