u joints on driveshaft

Ok, this is kind of a stupid question and I probably won't get any replies but it would help me out to know. I know this guy who will sell me his LS1 driveshaft for pretty cheap but he has a different u joint on it. Well, here's a direct quote, "I just want you to make sure you know what you are getting. It is the stock aluminum driveshaft out of a 2000 trans am. It is in excellent condition, but it does not have the stock U-Joint in it, it has a aftermarket 1350 ujoint to fit a 12 bolt. This can be changed very easily to make it work on your car but I just want to make sure you know."

Anywayz, can anyone tell me what size u joint i can buy and about how much they cost? I'm clueless on this one. [img]graemlins/dunce.gif[/img]

It is fairly easy to replace the U-joint. All you need to do is go down to a parts store and ask for a u-joint for a 2000 trans am.

I happen to have a life time u-joint from AutoZone right next to me. Brand: Brute Force Part number: 2-3011BF

You can probaby sell that U joint on a V8 board.
