pilot and tool inside.

My problem is, I know I kill clutches, people tell me to upgrade to specs, centerforce, etc... Thing is I have seen people replacing those clutches in less then 30k miles. My thoughts are if my clutch lasts 20k, heck I'm happy, if all I have to do is pay ~$150 to do my clutch every 20k I am for it. Now if I have to replace my clutch every 20k, and I am paying $400ish for the clutch, I am gonna be a little pissed
My goal with this car is not to be a super dooper top dog, but to have some fun with it. I'll never be a top dog, I don't have the budget or time to do it I figure, Seppo Kattain pulled 13.6@102 with 3.73s, drag tires, and Rich D went low 13s.
I just wear out clutches, just my driving and such, my thoughts are maybe I don't need a new clutch till my current one cannot handle the power.
