does a higher stall affect acceleration. the way i understand it, is a higher stall, say 3000, locks up at 3000rpm, now before 3000rpm is it helping or hurting acceleration? since the transmission is basically not in sync with the engine. is gas mileage REALLY badly affected with a higher stall?

well im prolly gonna either A. rebuild valve body $1300 or B. a 3000 stall would probably be about right, but there are other things to consider. Andre @ Edge Racing took my mod list and built the verter to suit, rather than an off-the-shelf TC.
