  • Woo-hoo, picking up my new Centerforce DF on Saturday!

I waited to order until earlier this week--my deadline was to have it installed and functional by AIS. For some weird reason, though, everyone and their brother is out of stock and on backorder for a MONTH. I called five different places including several sponsors here and nothing. Then as a fluke, a local race shop down in VA Beach has one in stock. :D We're going down there anyway on Saturday to get some custom welding done at my old exhaust shop so it worked out perfectly. I'm not going to attempt this install myself (too cold still) so the bird will go in the shop Monday afternoon. I should be online and rolling by Tuesday or Wednesday. Woo-hoo!

(For a while there I was scared, since no one had Centerforce in stock and I'm an impatient bastard, I almost ordered a Spec Stage 3. Glad I called around first!)

BOOOO! ALMOST DOESNT COUNT ... secure that sh*t Stefan!

Good luck with the CFDF, hope it works well for you. I'm going to try my install myself in about 5 weeks, we'll see how that goes ...

      Hey Stefan,
Where do you go in VA Beach? I just moved to Virginia and I am trying to find some reliable shops to probably do some major work on my car...

i'm with you... we might not have agreed about other things early on but we both know the centerforce dual friction is the only clutch that matters :D

i would also be curious to know just what places want for that install. my trans shop wants 380 :( i think that is standard fare though; if it's not that much then it's slightly more or slightly less.

I'll e-mail you a list of the good, the bad, and the ugly. ;) That doesn't really belong in this thread so I'm taking it to e-mail.
