    You would need an adapter plate since bolt patterns are different. V8 torque convertors can handle more torque since they have more fins. I guess it would just matter how much you want it.

      No, you cannot use a V6 converter on a V8 transmission, or vice versa, the input shafts are different.

        even if you could, why would you? wouldn't the v8 just tear it up?

                this is what i want to buy "Have a 2600 rpm 10in TCI stall converter for a 4l60e and a tranny cooler. Stall is used but cooler is not askin $230 for them both obo" but i want to make sure that there is no complications with the install.
