  • Torque Output, Converter Stall, and Efficiency?

I've talked to many people about how an Aftermarket TC will most likely end up dyno'ing lower than cars w/ stock TC's, When talking to Andre, He mentioned that if I were to, say, add a 100 shot of Nitrous off the line, My stall would go up to 3300, because of the torque increase out of the motor, and that my efficiency would go down because of the increase of torque thru the converter. basically, as torque increases out of the motor, stall goes up and efficiency goes down. The same happens with the stock Tc, assuming that the same rule applies. Mainly, I'm wondering if the guys throwing down respectable power numbers thru stock TC's would really be hurt that bad on the dyno if they got an aftermarket TC.

Does any of that sound logical?
