I bought a driveshaft off ebay he said that it came of a 95 T56 camaro. this is the aution http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2459065255 .I have a 2000 3.8 camaro automatic. I tried to install it but the ujoints in my car are smaller. how do I find the correct u joints or how can I use this drive shaft. what do I ask for at the auto store?

How much smaller? He might have had it on a 12 bolt or something -- go to a local F-body shop and they can press a new U-joint on for you.

find a transmission shop and ask them. if they dont do u-joint work they usually know someone who can.Comment

Yeah, it sounds like he had a 1310 to 1350 u-joint conversion. You need a straight 1310. Any tranny shop should be able to press it on.

Go to a tranny shop, or an F-body shop. Start from there. Call them, even.

I called a trans shop and they sent me to a driveshaft shop the hooked me up for $18 + $7 labor in about 2 min.s thanks for the help!
