  • Servo confusion/problem...?

    Okay i ordered the corvette servo today from Pro-built Automatics, but are there 2 of them, one for the 1-2 shift and one for the 2-3 shift? HELP!

      I'm confused as to what you're asking. I have it right in front of me. Both the V6 one and the corvette one. You just replace one with the other. Yes there are more parts in that whole piece, but just replace the 2 that look alike. They got the same shape, just slightly different insides. The corvette one has a thicker ring. Probably so that more fluid can press at once. Hence more pressure.

          Is there any benefit to the servo without a shift kit. Will my shifts still be firmer?

            Yes, the car will shift firmer. Its kinda like the intake/exhaust situation, either will help, but when you do them at the same time the effect is much greater because they compliment each other.
