Do carrier bearings need to be pressed on with a shop press or is there another way to get them on and off. The ones on my SLP lsd came damaged so i need to put new ones on. Thanks

if you can find something that fits over the outside of the LSD and on the race part of the bearing to hammer it on get after it but otherwise let a shop press them on...Black 1998 Pontiac Firebird A-4 swap
271.4rwhp/259.4rwtq NA
13.30@102.44
www.freewebs.com/wickedsix98

yea but you wouldnt actually be hammering on the rollers, why would the put a flat spot on them? I know you would have to be VERY careful while hammering and probally use a rubber mallet just to be safe. Also is there a trick to getting the exsisting carrier bearings off the diff with out one of those crazy gm tools?-Chris
2001 Pewter Camaro M5
Current Mods: NOS Dry Kit and a few others
N/A: 15.5@88.9MPH
N2O: ???
http://www.cardomain.com/id/jtusa69888
